STEP 5: Water and Electricity
The water and electricity for the system will need to be run to the sump tank during the inground pluming phase of the build. The electricity will be attached to the wood electric board. The water will need to be run and a spigot installed on the top of the sump tank. This will need to be done by a professional.
WATER PARAMETERS:
-
The water source needs pressure.
-
The water source needs to provide clean water sufficient for drinking.
-
The spigot will need an auto fill valve to be able to fill the system as it needs once it is running.

ELECTRICITY PARAMETERS:
-
The system requires a 50 Amp service attached to the wood electric board in front of the sump tank.
-
You will need at least 4 outlets.

POWER OUTAGES:
-
If you live in an area that has frequent power outages you will need a 6000 Watt generator.
-
You will need the electrician to wire your generator to your electrical system. This will allow you to power your system without having to disconnect your pumps from their outlets.

Get a quote from an electrician and communicate when the work will need to be done.
